FAX AVAILABILITY The Library has a fax machine that is available for the public to send and receive faxes. The charge for the service is $1.00 per page to send and/or receive a fax. Incoming faxes will be held on the Reserve shelf at the Circulation Desk. The Library maintains a bookdrop in the front door of the building. It is open when the Library is closed. Feel free to return any Library materials in the bookdrop at your convenience. The Library welcomes donations of library materials with the understanding that the Library will evaluate the material for best use, which may include adding the gift materials to the Library collection, selling the material or giving them to an appropriate third party. The Friends of the Library accept donations of books, magazines, and audio visual materials to be sold in their bookstore or at the next seasonal book sale. Donations for the Friends may be placed in the Friends bin in the library parking garage. For more information click here on the Friends of the Library. The Paul Sawyier Public Library does not charge a daily overdue fine on any items except music CDs and DVDs which are $1.00 per day/per item. In addition, the Library does charge a $2.00 per day fine on overdue equipment and interlibrary loan books. For further information on interlibrary loan policies, click here. The Paul Sawyier Public Library has opportunities for volunteers. Interested volunteers should be at least 18 years old and be willing to commit to a weekly schedule. Please stop by the library or call 352-2665 to speak with Donna Seals or Jaci West for more information. During the months of June and July, the Youth Services Department is in need of volunteers aged 12-15 to assist with summer reading programs. Youth Services personnel will provide training.
