Berkeley & Jeanine Scott

Berkeley and Jeanine Scott, a husband-and-wife team of authors, are both former journalists and historians with a keen interest in Kentucky’s bourbon legacy. They are the authors of The Kentucky Bourbon Trail – Revised Edition as well as Bourbon County 1860-1940, Paris and Bourbon County, Keeneland Racecourse, and Kentucky’s Horse-Drawn Era. Berkeley is now semi-retired after a career in journalism and an 11-year stint as the executive director of the Trust for Life, the organ donor awareness program of the Kentucky Circuit Court Clerks. Jeanine has worked at the Breeders’ Cup, as the tourism director for Bourbon County and at the Kentucky Historical Society. She is currently working for the Kentucky Education Association. They have lived in Bourbon County since 1979.
