Curious about LGBTQ+ history in Kentucky? Then join us for a fascinating discussion with author Belle Townsend, who will share excerpts and information from their forthcoming book. You’ll learn about Kentucky LGBTQ+ social scenes, documented discrimination practices, and more; be able to chat with Belle; and hear about their poetry books. A signing will follow with books available for purchase.

Belle Townsend is a content creator and poet from rural Western Kentucky. They currently live in Louisville, where they write for Queer Kentucky; explore themes relating to capitalism, climate change, survival, girlhood, and more through poetry; bake; and hang out with their beloved cats, Lovebug and Cowboy.
