High Schoolers in grades 9-12, join us for our first book discussion of the year: Jason Reynolds’ award-winning novel, Long Way Down (synopsis below)! Registration is required and begins Monday, January 30. After registering, participants will be emailed instructions on how to pick up their book.

Synopsis of Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds:

When Will’s older brother Shawn is killed, he is swallowed by grief. In a community that follows The Rules (no crying, no snitching, and get revenge), what choice does he have? A novel in verse, this book takes place in mere minutes as Will contemplates his decision riding down an elevator.

Attendance at PSPL events requires abiding by current CDC regulations. Social distancing is required.
