Program Description

Event Details

The month of March evolved as Women's History Month from International Women's Day, which had previously been established as March 8th. Following a decade of work by the National Women's History Project (later changed to the National Women's History Alliance), Congress designated March as Women's History Month in 1987.

Join the Kentucky Women's History Alliance for a special event recognizing women in history! Presenters include Jessica Stavros (Liberty Hall Historic Site), Becky Tippett (Capital City Museum), and members of the KWHA.
