David Cazden

A Kentucky resident for over 50 years, New Stars & Constellations is David Cazden's third full length collection of poetry. Cazden's poetry has appeared in The New Republic, Passages North, Nimrod, The McNeese Review, Rattle, Fugue Journal, The Connecticut Review, and elsewhere. He received an Al Smith individual artist's fellowship for poetry from the Kentucky Arts Council, has been nominated for a Pushcart and was a finalist for the Pablo Neruda award. David was the poetry editor for the magazine, Miller's Pond, for five years. He currently lives in Danville, Kentucky.

New Stars & Constellations is a full-length book of mostly new, uncollected poems by the poet, David Cazden. It explores themes of childhood, coming of age, ecology, and the loss of one's parents, using both lyrical and narrative poetic forms.
