
Children who are read to regularly have a better chance at finding success in kindergarten and we want to help! Register your child to participate in the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten initiative, read together regularly, log your reading and earn special prizes. Register your child online or at the Youth Services Desk.

Intro to Stage Fighting with Kentucky Shakespeare
Kentucky Shakespeare teaches the foundations of stage combat and safety, using swordplay or hand-to-hand combat, culminating in a staged fight at the end of the workshop. This program is for tweens and teens entering grades 3-12 in the fall.

Tween and Teen DIY Slime Bar
First we make the slime, then we decorate the slime. Learn how to make slime from scratch and then use color, glitter, and beads to theme your custom slime. This program is for tweens and teens entering grades 3-12 in the fall.
