Adult Outreach FAQs

Adult Outreach Services assists homebound adults, as well as elderly patrons in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and retirement communities. This also includes patrons who have a temporary mobility concern, such as a broken leg, and mothers with new infants.  Library staff will gather material for you, set a date for delivery, and bring those items to your door.

That’s okay! Give us a call. When can help you get a first time library card or a replacement library card.

Patrons can request Outreach once every three weeks.

Outreach can bring you up to 15 items at one time, including books, magazines, audio books, and movies.  Patrons can also request items to be placed on hold, and they will be brought to the patron at their next scheduled Outreach delivery.  We can also choose books for you based on your reading preferences.

Yes! We would love to provide library service to your facility.  Please contact us so we may discuss what would be most beneficial to your residents.
